Say Goodbye to the Easter Bunny

as if Christmas wasn't enough, the P.C. movement is now going after Easter and it's bunny.

city officials in Palm Beach Florida announced that the word Easter will be removed from it's events. Easter egg hunts will now be called "egg hunts" and the Easter bunny will now be referred to as the "Garden bunny!"

now i have never really understood Easter in the first place. who give eggs to an animal that hops? and it should be more of a holiday in this country, as this country was founded on Christian beliefs. Easter, more so than Christmas, embodies the establishment of faith in Christians due to the resurrection of Christ. Easter, like Christmas, has become too commercial. as always, the true focus has been lost.

and so now, the Easter bunny.

...and what are they trying to achieve, I wonder?

I really don't know how to technically do this - but the caption rang my bell.
I am a ver conservaative Christian, but it seems that in a time when most people, including children, talk about "being stressed" there are still a lot of people with way too much spare time. I say to them, find a really needed place to spend your energy such as a nursing home or rescue mission.

about the "I'm waiting" underwear - I appreciate the attempt, but a charm on a necklace or even a logo on a t-shirt worn on TOP of the undies would be more appropriate.

Perhaps the designer is considering buiding up the courage of girls among girls to help them make their statement? If so, that is good.

I think that it is sort of funny how you call yourself a conservative Christian and are protesting the P.C. movement to get rid of Easter bunny when you said yourself, "now i have never really understood Easter in the first place. who give eggs to an animal that hops?"
And another thing is that this country was NOT founded on Christian beliefs. It was founded by Christians, but THE GOVERNMENT was founded on a belief system that allowed freedom of religion and separation of church and state.
Since you believe that "Easter, more so than Christmas, embodies the establishment of faith in Christians due to the resurrection of Christ," I have to ask what you do on Easter. Have you gone to church every Easter morning and done all your Christian duties? Or have you sat at home and eaten ham, while chasing bunnies with colorful plastic eggs?
