Sempre Americo

Americo was my father.

a good man. smart. loving.

he loved racing formula vee race cars, and was very good at it!

he loved his children, even when he didn't know how.

business was his toy, and he played with it with such skill.

he always believed in "gritting your teeth" and the better would come.

he was my best friend. and my most trusted advisor.

i will love him always (sempre), Americo.

my dad.

I feel guilty about never really knowing him.
He is a wonderful man that I would really enjoy sharing time with.
Even though I never met him, he has touched my heart as well and I will hold him close to my heart always.

i'm very sorry for your loss; do take care of yourself. you wouldn't be dealt such difficult issues if you couldn't handle them; never forget that.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know no words are going to make it all better, but I wanted to let you know that I'm praying for you.

I posted something about my Dad (who also died) before reading what you wrote on the Railway.

I wish I hadn't now. But I did, so I didn't delete it.

I have no words to even begin to tell you how I grieve right here with you. I'm so sorry.

I will think of you today, tomorrow and always. You're in prayers...
